Parade Floats

April 14's 10 Things to Be Happy About

1. The Feeling of Resting Content
- I don't get that feeling very often at school which stinks but there is always something going on and it's just crazy. I always feel like there's something that I haven't done or finished to the extent that it should be done. RAWR!

2. An Everyday Creative Person
- I like to think that I am creative but there are people that are much more creative than I am and they can come up with something original very easily. It seriously amazes me what some people come up with these days.

3. Waking Up In a Good Mood
- I'm almost in a good mood but I wish that others would be in a good mood when they woke up. Usually I'm groggy the first ten minutes but after that I'm ready to go. I guess you could say I'm ready for the day to start.

4. Taking a Trip
- Who wouldn't be happy about taking a trip, especially if it's somewhere you haven't been before. I think that trips that turn into adventures are the best kind. I like to go to new places because there is always some sort of adventure to be had.

5. The Chance to Work on a Parade Float
- I had the chance to work on the Zeta parade float last semester and it was a blast. The theme was recycling and elements of the periodic table. It was a great theme and I think that we did quite well. IT was really fun to spray paint a lot of different things and hang out with my sisters.

6. Brain Food
- Isn't all healthy food brain food?

7. Blue Glass
- Is this instead of clear glass?

8. Candles in the Kitchen
- My lights these after we cook to make the kitchen continue to smell good. It also brings ambiance into the kitchen which I think is cool?

9. Taking the Fork in the Road
- You don't really have a choice when you come to a fork in the road unless you want to turn around. Unless you go the wrong way at the fork in the road...then you get to go on some sort of adventure which is always a good thing.

10. Challenging the Status Quo
- More people should do this because then nothing ever changes. I saw the status quo in high school and I still see it in college when it comes to different groups of people. I always try to challenge things that I don't believe are right because they should be changed.
