March 30's 10 Things to Be Happy About

1. Warm Cheddar Scones - Anything with cheddar cheese is wonderful. I can't say that I have had a cheddar scone before but I'm sure that it is delicious.

2. Reading Poetry - If it's poetry by Dr. Suess or Shell Silverstein I'm all for it otherwise I'm not really a big fan. I hate trying to analyze things and figure out what they "really" mean because it's completely pointless.

3. New Freedom - I think this is the best when kids go from living with their parents to going off to either boarding school or college. It is amazing all of the crazy shenanigans kids get into when they leave home because most of them have never had the freedom to stay out until all hours of the night.

4. Knife Scars on a Cutting Board - It means that a cutting board has been used to it's full potential or someone got really angry and just started taking swipes at it with a knife. Either way they make me happy because I know that I have been using them to actually cook delicious food.

5. Open, Gracious Hearts - I think that more people need to have these in order to let others in and then the world would be a more peaceful place. Like the song says "Love makes the world go round"

6. Learning to Rock-Climb - I learned how to rock climb on a girl scout outing and had the time of my life. It is not something that I have continually done thoruhgout my whole life but I really enjoy it when I do get the chance to climb up a wall of rocks.

7. Your House Selling - I remember when we were moving when I was younger our house was on the market for a long time and my parents were extremely happy when someone came along and bought it. I think that in this day's economy it's a wonderful thing that your house sells so that you don't have a big debt sitting on your hands.

8. Getting Caught Up With Your Work - That's actually what I'm doing right now, catching up on my blog. This weekend I have so much work to get done but so little time to do it because of all of my sorority stuff.

9. Spring Chickens - My grandparents used to get new chicks every spring but I don't think that they do anymore because they have too many. I think that chicks are adorable because they just make you smile as they hope around and chirp.

10. Rose-Colored Glasses - Are we talking about the things that are on your face or just glass in general?
