Bouquets of Roses and Tulips

April 24's 10 Things to Be Happy About

1. The Guests' Coat Pile
- The bigger it is, the more people that decided to attend that party.

2. A Mango Dessert
- Mango Italian water ice is delicious! Otherwise I'm not a big fan of mango desserts.

3. Shish Kebab on the Grill
- My dad makes the best shish kebab in the world. He makes this really good marinade and then lets the meat and the vegetables soak in it for a day and then when they come off of the grill they are absolutely delicious.

4. Inspiration
- It may come in small or big doses but it is always a good thing to have. I know that there are many people that have inspired the person that I have become.

5. Place Names Like Mesopotammia
- Who doesn't smile when they see some sort of name that is spelled this way and even the annunciation of the word. The history of this city state and how they functioned is also an interesting thing to think about.

6. Brightly Colored Easter Eggs
- Who doesn't love decorated easter eggs? Or the ones that have the little gifts inside of them. For Easter my mom got me a bunch of Reese's candy in the shape of eggs since I'm not a big fan of chocolate to begin with.

7. Jotting Down One-Liners
- There are so many of these that can make people laugh or can be used as a pick up line. Some of them are truly entertaining and some of them just epicly fail because the people just don't know how to use them correctly.

8. A Clean Kitchen
- I love the satisfaction of having a clean kitchen after cooking dinner or baking something with mom. It drives me nuts when people leave things out and then they rot or just smell absolutely awful. The satisfaction of having a clean anything makes many people happy.

9. A Beautiful Bouquet of Roses and Tulips
- A bouquet of almost anything will make many women happy. I am not a big fan of flowers but I hope that the bouquet that I use for my wedding will be absolutely gorgeous.

10. Jelly Beans
- I only like the ones that taste like strawberries and watermelon. I once found an old easter with melted jelly beans in it, in the middle of the summer. It was sticky and disgusting but it made me laugh because we managed to not find all of the Easter eggs during the hunt that previous April.

Motorcycles Rumbling

April 23's 10 Things to Be Happy About

1. Cherishing the Process
- Everyone should cherish the process that they are doing because they should cherish the time that they have on this earth.

2. The Rumble of Motorcycles
- Honestly motorcycles scare me because they are so dangerous. The sound of them is nice but when I see people without helmets it seriously makes me angry, like how stupid can you be? You're going to die almost instantly if you get in a crash without a helmet...DUH!

3. Dutch Apple Pie
- No one can beat Dad's apple pie because it is absolutely amazing and the best thing that I've ever tasted and more people should eat it because it's delicious. It won second place in the state fair. It should have won first but that's besides the point.

4. The Music of Ray Charles
- I have to say that I've never really listened to him but he did sing Baby Grand with Billy Joel so I give him credit with that. I probably have heard some of his more popular songs but not his less popular songs and I also saw his movie which was pretty good.

5. Giving Away Useful Stuff
- If I'm not using it anymore but it's useful to someone else why not give it to them to help them out.

6. Clipping Fascinating Articles
- I don't really clip articles but from time to time I'll read them and write about them in my journal. For those of you who do cool beans!

7. Throwing Away the Junk
- I have every intention of going through my room when I get home from school for the summer and throwing away all of the stuff that is useless to me because I'm sick of being such a packrat. I will keep the stuff that I think is important, but otherwise it's all going bye bye!

8. Restaurant Crayons
- I love when restaurants have crayons to entertain me while I'm waiting for food. Some only come with kids meals but some restaurants, such as Ron's, have paper on the table and crayons in a little cup to the side. I love it because I play hangman and tic tac toe with my dad every time we go.

9. Library Reading Rooms
- These are nice for when I'm tutoring but right now they're all taken up because of finals and people all of the sudden want to be in the library all of the time which really annoys me because I earned the right to use those from being there all semester. It also really annoys me when there's only one person in one or when people leave their stuff in the room so that they can come back later and use it. RAWR!

10. Baby Chicks
- So adorable...but why can't it just say chicks considering technically baby chickens are chicks so why say baby chicks. It just sounds dumb. My grandparents used to get them every year and I would go and play with them. I love picking them out and showing them to my younger cousins since they were a little skittish around them because they were afraid they'd peck them.

Tweezers' Simplicity

April 22's 10 Things to Be Happy About

1. Batter-Fried Zucchini
- Interesting concept, but can't say that I've ever tried it.

2. Finding the "Lost" Remote Control
- This happens way too often in my house because it either gets stuck in the couch or underneath it. We have a specific drawer for it but dad likes to have it on his lap when he's watching TV which does not really help much because that's how we lose it.

3. Inner Beauty
- You can't judge a book by it's cover and what's on the inside is what counts. Just because you're pretty doesn't always mean you're nice.

4. A Working Sugarhouse
- As opposed to one that's fallen into disrepair?

5. Blowing Up Balloons
- As much as I love blowing up balloons I love deflating them even more because if they are filled with helium you can make your voice make funny noises and that's honestly the best part about having them. Last semester after a party we had for ZTA we inhaled a bunch and took really funny videos of us talking and singing.

6. Being Happy Rather Than Right
- I think that instead of arguing with someone about something stupid it's better to just let it go so that you don't ruin a friendship in the process of arguing it out.

7. Falling Asleep in Seconds
- I love when this happens because then I don't have to toss and turn for a while. Finding the perfect position usually sucks and I'm usually exhausted and just want to sleep.

8. Creating a Mural
- I remember when I was in middle school we made murals in the barn that used to be the gym before they built the actual gym. I loved that each grade got their own mural and everyone got to design and paint a cool mural.

9. Tweezers' Simplicity
- Whoever invented the tweezers is an awesome person. I think that they are helpful in so many situations because of their simplicity and their complexity at the same time.

10. Quieting Your Mind
- I try to do this but I really can't unless I'm sleeping. I got yelled at by a woman who was giving me a massage once. She could tell I was thinking too much and told me to concentrate on the music. Well concentrating on the music just made me think about who wrote it and what other music had been written by said person. See what I mean?

Multiple Mustards

April 21's 10 Things to Be Happy About

1. Cornflower-Blue Skies
- As opposed to sky blue skies? What the heck does this even mean?

2. Multiple Mustards
- As long as there is honey mustard for my chicken nuggets I'm all set. It is the best kind of mustard I have to say.

3. Pulling Off a Surprise
- I remember my mom being so excited to pull of my surprise thirteenth birthday during exam week in seventh grade. It was a lot of fun and I most of the girls from my class came. I also threw her a surprise birthday party when I was younger and she and my sister were in D.C. when I planned it and it worked out so well and she had absolutely no idea!

4. Calm Acceptance
- I'd rather people calmly accept news rather than freaking out and that's why I'm afraid to confront people when they are being assholes. I'm not very good at it unless I know that they won't blow up at me and that they will accept whatever I've told them in a calm manner.

5. Finding the New Product You Were Seeking
- I love going shopping when I have the money to spend and when I find something that I saw a while ago that I really wanted I'm especially happy about my shopping trip.

6. Restroom Doors that Actually Lock
- I love when this occurs but my question is what happens that makes them unable to lock? Do people beat them until they can no longer lock? I swear if you go into a new bathroom they all work but if you go into a bathroom that's a couple years or older the bathroom locks are beaten to a pulp!

7. Ludicrousness
- Laughing at something absurd is always fun and makes people happy. When something unexpected happens it's really fun to laugh at whatever is happening because its so weird.

8. A Song's Special Meaning
- I think in every relationship a couple has a song that means more to them than other songs.

9. Crossing Things Off the Assignment Board
- It always makes people feel like they've accomplished something when they can cross it off of their list of things to do or assignments to finish. I love that feeling.

10. Crepe-Paper Twists
- ???

Past Romances

April 20's 10 Things to Be Happy About

1. A Little Love Gift
- They are the best kind.

2. Finally Leaving the 1960's Behind
- I think that's hard especially because that's when the Beatles were so popular. Who would want to leave them behind? How can you really leave any time period unless you haven't lived through it.

3. Treasures in the Attic
- You never know what you could find in your attic. If you weren't the one to put it up there it's even better when you find something that you didn't expect. I love going cleaning at my grandmother's house because I always find things that I never expect.

4. Walking Out Into Fresh Air
- I love doing this especially after being in the city or something like that. I love living far away from the city because then when I walk out I'm not inhaling the disgusting smog or whatever they call it these days. Fresh air is the best medicine for almost anything.

5. Swiss Chocolate
- YUM!

6. Peppered Food
- A little pepper on most food gives it a bit more taste which is always a good thing for bland food. I love pepper on my eggs because it tastes wonderful and adds a little more taste to them. Pepper on my chicken and mashed potatoes is also pretty good.

7. Bright Hunter Orange
- So you don't get shot in the woods. If you don't wear it during hunting season they could mistake you as some sort of animal and shoot you which is never good.

8. Past Romances
- I have a few of those and when I look back I realize that they are not half as good as the one that I'm in now with someone who truly cares and lets me do as I please as long as no one is getting hurt. Each relationship teaches everyone something new.

9. Lessons with a Master Chef
- I have always thought that this would be fun but I've never gotten to experience one before. Maybe some day I will get to do it but for now I'm thinking I'm a pretty good chef myself.

10. Getting to Work Early
- This is definitely better than being late. Luckily I'm pretty good at being on time for work or at least a few minutes early. It always looks good for your boss to see that you are getting to work early.

Cheerleaders

April 19's 10 Things to Be Happy About

1. Deep Windows
- I love having these in my room because I can crawl into them and read while feeling the nice spring breeze rolling through the screen and swirling around my room. Also it's nice for storage purposes no matter how annoyed my parents get when I store things in it.

2. The Smart Money
- As opposed to dumb money? Isn't it usually the people who know how to invest it right the smart ones?

3. A Cheerleader's Enthusiasm
- I used to be a cheerleader and not all of the girls were always enthusiastic. I honestly didn't enjoy it sometimes because the other girls were so mean! I do enjoy the enthusiasm when they are cheering for a team because I guess it makes the team think that there is always someone rooting for them.

4. Smelling the Roses
- More people should take the time to stop and smell them because you only live life once and you should enjoy it while you can otherwise you're going to be miserable when you get older because you didn't stop to smell the roses and enjoy life.

5. A Literary Notion
- I honestly only like to read when it's for fun and I hate trying to disect what poems or stories really mean and what the point the author was trying to get across was. It drives me crazy.

6. The Color of New Grass
- It's always lighter than the grass that is old.

7. How Memory Works
- Technically no one truly knows how it works. We studied it earlier this semester in my education class. There are many different forms of memory and how it functions. A good example is short term memory which can be seen in the fish Dory from Finding Nemo.

8. Shifting Perspective
- If something bad ever happens to you and you want to blame someone else for it, take a moment and think of their perspective in the situation. Maybe they had a reason for doing what they did, maybe they didn't, you will never know if you don't stand in their shoes for a few minutes.

9. Frogs Leaping Out of the Pond
- I think that they should stay in the pond and not cross the street on rainy nights because then they end up getting run over. It is pretty cool to watch them jump though and how the muscles in their legs work. They truly have some power behind their hops.

10. Manet and Monet
- There is a difference between them which most people don't know which makes me laugh. They even have different types of works. Just look at the paintings and you can tell!

Reassuring Ritual

April 18's 10 Things to Be Happy About

1. Jeans, Sweater, Flip-Flops
- Who doesn't love when this sort of weather finally comes out. I'd rather be wearing a tshirt but that's besides the point. I do love the weather that is finally going to come!

2. Hot Buttered Biscuits and Ham
- Always Easter dinner at Lolly's house. I love her rolls, they are absolutely amazing. With a little bit of my other grandmother's jam smeared on top, it makes the best homemade meal ever!

3. An Introductory Offer
- We need to start somewhere right?

4. A Week off From School
- All of the grade schools are currently on their week breaks or were last week and they are so lucky. I wish that every school gave the same week off because then it would make it a lot easier for me to visit friends at home.

5. Astonishing Revelations
- Everyone has them from time to time when you realize something that is completely obvious or completely hidden in life. I think that hitting these points where you figure these things out are pretty cool.

6. Driving Golf Balls
- I think that I am absolutely awful at this you can ask almost anyone who's seen me play. I'm more of a tennis player. I am more of the kind of girl who hacks the golf ball across the course and the groundskeepers would probably hate me if I was allowed to play.

7. Setting Achievable Goals
- I personally think that you need to start small so that you can build things up and reach higher goals. Pretty much these are subgoals that help you achieve greater goals.

8. Knowing Where Your Dog Is
- Currently my dog is on the floor in my family room and wanting to go play outside in the beautiful weather. I wish that she wouldn't roll around after being cleaned by the kennel. She smelled so wonderful when I brought her home the other day.

9. A Reassuring Ritual
- I think that every family or group of friends has some sort of ritual that they go through many times a year just to stay connected. For example my best friend's family and mine always go out to a movie on either Christmas Eve or New Years Eve. It's always a lot of fun to do with them and it reassures me that we are still close friends along with our parents.

10. Dormitories
- The only good thing about living in a dormitory is that you don't have to clean your own bathroom and you don't have to worry about making your meals because they are served in the cafe, no matter how awful the food is.

Church Choirs

April 17's 10 Things to Be Happy About

1. Church Choirs
- More churches should have amazing choirs because I think that would make more people want to go to church to see an amazing show. While I realize that people should go to church to worship God and what not I think that putting in some ways to make interesting is never a bad thing.

2. Jellyroll Cake
- ??

3. Museum Stores
- I honestly think that there isn't much a point in these because they just want more money for a museum that you probably already paid a lot to get into. Plus the overcharge you way too much for the contents of the store. I think that it is a ridiculous idea. I think that seeing artifacts unless you are on a guided tour should be free so that more people can get their hands on history.

4. Wildlife Identification
- I love wildlife especially when I know what I'm looking at. A book can tell you these things along with a tour guide or teacher. I think that doing a little research never hurt anyone and more people should do it so that they can know what is around them.

5. A run of Eighth Notes
- If I'm playing the piano that's fine but if it's when I'm singing it can be really hard.

6. Little Things
- I think that people should learn that you shouldn't sweat the small stuff and that little things can also make me happy. I like the simple things that my boyfriend does for me that make me happy. Him driving to school just to see me or just calling when I'm not expecting always make me happy.

7. Cutting a Grapefruit
- As long as it doesn't get in my eyes I like cutting grapefruit.

8. Meeting New Friends
- This is always a good thing. I love that most people forget how they became friends. I know that I don't always remember but trying to figure out how you met someone is always interesting.

9. Trunk Lunches
- Like eating out of the trunk of your car?

10. Early-Morning Yard Sales
- I think that most people have yard sales in the morning because then they can have the afternoon to do whatever they want. They'll probably go shopping now that they have a profit of what they sold.

"As Seen on TV"

April 16's 10 Things to Be Happy About

1. Dappled Sunlight Patterns
- Sunlight patterns are pretty cool to see when they are coming through clouds or through the trees in a forest.

2. Sports Gear
- If you want to be an athlete you kind of need this. Every sort has some sort of gear that you need to wear. I love my tennis racket and it makes me happy to know that it is sitting under my bed and that I love the sport.

3. Conchologists
- These scientists study mollusc shells from the ocean. I think that they are pretty cool because they teach us how the shells differ from other shells in the ocean. I don't know if I could study a certain type of shell, I'd rather study all types of shells because there are so many in the world and they are amazing shapes and colors.

4. Salt and Pepper Potato Chips
- I'm not a big fan of potato chips but I guess these could taste good...I've never had them before.

5. Mastering Irregular Verbs
- I hated learning these in Spanish because it takes so long to remember all of the different ones in the Spanish language.

6. Pastel Colors
- They are wonderful during this time of year when everything is blooming along with the Easter Holiday. I feel that the colors of Easter are any color in pastel form.

7. The Zookeeper's Favorite Animals
- If I were a zookeeper my favorite animals would be the big cats because I think that they are truly beautiful. I do not however, think a zookeeper should choose favorites because all of the animals deserve some loving.

8. Toy-Store Browsing
- My favorite toy store that I have ever browsed would have to be the FAO Schwarz in New York. I remember my grandfather loving to browse toy stores as well. He had an obsession with buying big stuffed animals which drove my grandmother nuts but they were always something cute.

9. Spray Perfume
- I always loved the smell of my mom's perfume growing up and I would always ask her to spray some on me too. I don't wear it all of the time in college but sometimes for special occasions I wear it so that I smell wonderfully delicious.

10. "As Seen on TV" Sundries
- I love those stores that say as seen on tv even though most of the advertisements say not sold in any stores. It's always a big contradiction!

Sending Your Taxes

April 15's 10 Things to Be Happy About

1. Garden Planting
- More people should do this because it's truly relaxing. I really like doing this with my mommy. Every year I help her plant her Impatients both at our house and at my grandmother's house for her mother's day present. It is always a nice surprise for my grandmother to come home to.

2. Hassle-Free Refunds
- I honestly don't think that there's such a thing because there's always some sort of hassle involved in refunding a check or something along those lines. If there isn't someone prove me wrong please!

3. Cooking on Autopilot
- I can cook two meals on autopilot because I've cooked them so many times. It is always a lot of fun to make different things but I can't do all of them by heart. I can make waffles on autopilot which is cool, along with scrambled eggs. I don't even have to think about what I'm cooking which is pretty cool.

4. The Latest Magazines
- I always love getting the latest issues of Cosmopolitan and every once in a while I love to read the newest people to find out the scandalous lives of the stars of today. It honestly amazes me how much bull shit there is and how these people deal with it. I think I would go nuts if I was famous because of all of the rumors that end up coming out in the tabloids.

5. The Cycles of Rock Formation
- The volcano explodes, the lava comes down, the ocean cools it, it forms a rock...TADA!

6. Lemon-Grilled Chicken
- Any marinated chicken is good...I can't say that I've ever had lemon-grilled chicken before though. Would be something I would be willing to try though.

7. A Pencil Sharpener Whirring
- As long as it's not doing it in the middle of class then I'm good. The sound is soothing because it's like a purr of a cat if you ask me. Maybe I'm weird but that's what I think.

8. Finally Sending Off Your Tax Stuff
- It's just a huge breath of relief that you don't have to worry about it anymore. I hate worrying about taxes and I know that my mother does too.

9. Handmade Paper
- I can't say I've ever used or made homemade paper but it sounds like it would be something fun to try. I really enjoy learning new things so I would love to be able to try making papers and seeing how it turns out.

10. Napping Rabbits
- Rabbits in general make me smile. I love sitting and petting them because they are always so soft.

Parade Floats

April 14's 10 Things to Be Happy About

1. The Feeling of Resting Content
- I don't get that feeling very often at school which stinks but there is always something going on and it's just crazy. I always feel like there's something that I haven't done or finished to the extent that it should be done. RAWR!

2. An Everyday Creative Person
- I like to think that I am creative but there are people that are much more creative than I am and they can come up with something original very easily. It seriously amazes me what some people come up with these days.

3. Waking Up In a Good Mood
- I'm almost in a good mood but I wish that others would be in a good mood when they woke up. Usually I'm groggy the first ten minutes but after that I'm ready to go. I guess you could say I'm ready for the day to start.

4. Taking a Trip
- Who wouldn't be happy about taking a trip, especially if it's somewhere you haven't been before. I think that trips that turn into adventures are the best kind. I like to go to new places because there is always some sort of adventure to be had.

5. The Chance to Work on a Parade Float
- I had the chance to work on the Zeta parade float last semester and it was a blast. The theme was recycling and elements of the periodic table. It was a great theme and I think that we did quite well. IT was really fun to spray paint a lot of different things and hang out with my sisters.

6. Brain Food
- Isn't all healthy food brain food?

10. Challenging the Status Quo
- More people should do this because then nothing ever changes. I saw the status quo in high school and I still see it in college when it comes to different groups of people. I always try to challenge things that I don't believe are right because they should be changed.

A Sign Creaking in the Wind

April 13's 10 Things to Be Happy About

1. A Sign Creaking in the Wind
- For some reason this just makes me think about movies where something bad is about to happen, but the characters don't know it yet. It always creeps me out when you think about it. It's also very artsy when people take pictures of it.

2. Earthquake-Proofing
- Apparently in Japan they build their buildings so that they can withstand the moving of the earth's plates causing earth quakes. Also you never really know when an earthquake can hit so it can be really hard to earthquake-proof something unless it was made that way to begin with.

3. A Center for the Arts
- Every town should have one of these because children should be able to dip their feet into the arts programs. I feel that they are becoming less and less because of cuts in funding. I think that it is complete crap that this is the first thing that school's and societies decide to cut out because they think it is unimportant. It IS important for students to see everything when they are being educated!

4. A Bridge Reopening
- I love this because it makes everyone's lives easier because then they don't have to drive through a detour every day. I remember when I was still in middle school they redid a bridge near my house and it took forever for them to finally finish it but when they did it was a faster ride to school.

5. The Local Greasy Spoon
- Around here it's the Exton Diner. They have good food but it is kind of low key greasy food. McDonald's anywhere are definitely a local greasy spoon because honestly that food is soooo bad for you.

6. Imitating a Bird Call
- People who do this are pretty talented in my opinion. Some of those calls are really hard to imitate. It's also fun to listen to people who can't do it try.

7. Sharing Something of Interest
- I hate conversations that aren't interesting so when something talks to me and shares something new that I have an interest in it helps. I love the people in my life who know what I'm interested in and have the same interests. I'm always ready to hear something new and see if it is interesting.

8. A Grudge Set Aside
- Honestly I think that too many people hold grudges for too long. That's part of the problem with the world. Honestly unless someone keeps repeating the problem that began the grudge fine keep it but if they are making an honest effort to fix thing it's always a good thing to let it go. If something happens once and you set a grudge for a life then you have some serious problems.

9. Cheeks Aglow
- I love making boys blush, it's always entertaining, or anyone for that matter. It's just fun to watch them feel embarrassed.

10. Surpassing Your Expectations

College Roomates

April 12's 10 Things to Be Happy About

1. Baby Bird Time
- I always love this! One year they made a nest on top of one of our outdoor lights by our front door and when the baby birds were born we could go look at them until they were able to fly away. It was really cool to watch them grow so fast!

2. Divergent Thinking
- It's always better to think of all of the possibilities and outcomes when you do something. Most people do the first thing that comes to mind which is why people get hurt by what is said a lot of the time. Divergent thinking is a wonderful thing and if you can use it all the time, you're set in life!

3. Crested Butte's Trails
- Apparently this is in Colorado and they are amazing bike trails that people love to use. If you are a mountain biker I would recommend going here. I'm sure my dad would love this because he loves to bike so much.

4. Scents From a Garden Full of Herbs
- Anything smelling like herbs is a wonderful thing. I don't care if I'm in a garden or in a kitchen where someone is using them to cook or bake. It is a wonderful smell and it gives food taste instead of being something that tastes awfully bland.

5. Tabby Cats
- Most people when they see this think of orange tabby cats but I have a gray tabby cat. I feel that most people think that most cats are tabby cats but there are actually many kinds. I miss my cat when I'm not at home.

6. Pure White Shutters
- As opposed to an off white?

7. Spontaneity
- I think that this is a wonderful thing because you never know what can come out of spontaneity. It is fun to surprise people and spontaneity in situations make them that much more fun to deal with.

8. Your College Roommate
- I loved my roommate sophomore year. My roommate freshman year was interesting. I once walked in on her drying her hair stark naked. It was very embarrassing. It was in the middle of the year so I think by that time she should have known that I took short showers. My roommate this year has also been interesting...I'm so excited to have single for my senior year!

9. Vintage Necklaces
- It is always interesting to see what you can find in vintage stores. The necklaces are a big part of something that I enjoy. I got a necklace from my grandmother that she got when she was my age and I love it!

10. "Welcome Home" Flowers
- I feel like people only get these if they are coming home after being in the hospital or something like that. I guess that would make me smile. When I got my surgery last year I got welcome home flowers that also said feel better so I guess I'm all for them!

Eating Cereal All Day

April 11's 10 Things to Be Happy About

1. Bright-Colored Clothing
- I think that this helps to be noticeable and it also helps that people know that you are different from everyone else. I like wearing bright colors because people tend to look at you funny and wonder why you're doing it but it's because bright colors are happy.

2. A Sanctuary in Your Home
- If you don't feel happy in your own home then I don't think that you should be there. I know that if you are under 18 you don't really have a choice but if you're over 18 then you can do whatever you please.

3. Occasional Indulgence
- Indulging in desserts every once in a while is a wonderful thing. I don't eat them a lot because I know how unhealthy they are for you but when I do eat them it's a wonderful feeling.

4. The Work of Understanding
- I think more people should work to be understanding. There are some people who do not understand certain circumstances and are not empathetic if something bad happens. For example, some professors at my university are very understanding while others are very mean when you miss something or turn in work late, no matter what the reason.

5. Improving Your Posture
- People slouch too much so I think that there is plenty of room for improvement. Many people can work on their posture even though it can be hard to sit up straight sometimes. In the long run it can make you happier because when you get older you won't have back problems like some people do.

6. Heat-Resistant Glass Mugs
- These are nice because when you drink coffee or tea, you don't feel like it's going to burn through your hands. I think that they are also nice because you can put them in the microwave.

7. Lobster Pots
- Lobster is delicious...nuff said!

8. A Vintage Piece of Tiffany Glass
- Like from Tiffany's or something. I honestly have no idea what this means.

9. Bioluminescence
- This is really cool to see in the ocean. If you go at night and throw a life jacket out onto the water it lights up because of all of the algae and plankton that is on the surface. It is so fish can find their way at night.

10. Eating Cereal All Day
- For every meal...I'm so game. I love almost any kind of cereal and if I had a variety of different cereals I could definitely eat cereal all day. I used to get cereal as my dessert at school because there were never any good desserts. I also like putting bananas on top of cereal...it's delicious!

A Knowledgeable Butcher

April 10's 10 Things to Be Happy About

1. The Colors of a Fried Egg
- The only two colors in a fried egg should be yellow and white unless someone sucks at making fried eggs and burnt it in which case their might be some brown. Fried eggs are pretty good though.

2. Planning Your Senior Prom
- I remember how exciting it was to plan the details before and after both of my senior proms. Getting the limo and planning who was going to be in it was a lot of fun. I also got to have a party beforehand where there was much picture taking and fuss. It was a lot of fun to get to hang out with all of my friends for one last amazing time together.

3. A Knowledgeable Butcher
- There aren't many of these that are around today because the trade of a butcher has kind of died out. People really don't care that much about the quality of their meat anymore. The closest butcher shop to my house is about 20 minutes away but they have really good pork and steaks. I love getting ground hamburger from there because it's different than just getting it from your local grocery store.

4. Knowing Where to Find Something
- It's always nice to know where stuff is especially in your own house. Sometimes at home I have issues finding something that I need. The funny part is I know where almost anything is located in my grandparents house. A little scary if you ask me.

5. The Ability to Surrender
- Sometimes people need to know how to surrender or else they will not know how to make a compromise or someone could have a better solution to something.

6. Garden Ferns
- As opposed to the wild ferns that grow in the woods of the Pocono Mountains. Do they actually have a purpose to make the garden look pretty?

7. Tastefulness
- Everyone has different tastes and being accepting of other people's tastes is always a good thing, rather than being a horrible person. It is in good taste to accept people for who they are and their personal tastes.

8. Watching the Rain Fall
- I love watching the summer rain fall because it's warm rain instead of cold rain in the winter and spring. It's nice when the rain is fun to run around in. I used to love playing in the mud that it caused, come to think of it I still love to do it. Puddle stomping is also a lot of fun as well!

9. Seersucker Outfits
- No idea what this is!

10. Shaggy Ponies
- These are just so much cuter than the ones that are well groomed. I think that they are cool looking and their usually the ones that they have at petting zoos and sometimes they allow you to ride them which I think is pretty fun. I have to say that I'd rather ride a horse though. They are fun to take artsy pictures of though!

Extra Set of Car Keys

April 9's 10 Things to Be Happy About

1. Blueberry Pancake
- I love a little extra taste in my pancakes, as long as it's not chocolate chips, I'm totally game!

2. An Antiquing Trip
- I honestly do not like going hunting for antiques but I know that there are some people that do. To those select people, good for you!

3. That Extra Set of Car Keys
- They are a wonderful thing to have when you lock your keys in the car. Some people hide them on their car while others don't think that is safe and keep them in the safety of their home. I think that having that spare set is a wonderful thing because otherwise you may be shit out of luck when you can't get AAA to come and unlock your car. I hope that they don't set the car alarm off!

4. A Brick Walkway
- These look so much better than the cement walkways that most newer houses have because people are too lazy and cheap to buy the better looking option.

5. Recipes from Old Cookbooks
- It's always good to be able to get recipes from an old cookbook because then you know that they've been tried but at least someone other than the person who wrote the cookbook. I think that there are a lot more options in the older cookbooks as well.

6. Accomplished Musicians
- I wish that I could be one of these but unfortunately I stopped playing the piano the way that I used to. I always wished that I could sight read better but there's not much I can do about it. I enjoy listening to the masters though!

7. The Maine Woods
- Are these any different than any other woods, other than the fact that they're probably colder?

8. A Kaleidoscope's Colors
- There are so many that mix together and it is really cool to watch them move around with each other. My grandmother has one at her house that I used to love to play with as a kid and I would spend hours staring through the small viewing panel.

9. Crunching Celery
- If it crunches it's better than if it is soggy and gross. No one wants a soggy piece of celery because then it just takes the best part of eating the vegetable out of it.

10. Browsing a Cooking Supplies Store
- It always amazes me how many things that are useful in the kitchen and how much the things that they make aren't really needed because you can do the same thing with something else. They are just trying to get more people out of money who don't know how to use the kitchen supplies that they already have in more than one way. Think before you spend pointless money people...FIGHT AGAINST THE MAN!

"Owning" The Moment

April 8's 10 Things to Be Happy About

1. Leaving a Party Graciously
- I would rather leave a part graciously than leaving one obnoxiously like the people who leave the party because they've gotten sick in the bathroom. I honestly think that this is a disgusting way to leave a party especially when I'm the one who ends up taking care of you. GAG ME!

2. Wearing a Parka to a Baseball Game
- I love parkas especially when it's chilly outside. It's nice because they can keep you warm but they can also keep you dry if it starts to rain because they usually have a water resistant fabric on the outside but can also have a furry inside.

3. Well-Buttered Rolls
- I have to say that I like my rolls unbuttered because they taste better and you can taste the roll and not the ten million pounds of butter smeared onto it. I really like jam on rolls rather than butter. If it's Granmom's homemade jam on a roll I'm totally in for anything.

4. "Owning" the Moment
- My sister's would probably call this WINNING! Charlie Sheen is the man and I'm pretty sure he owned the moment he said that he was winning when he was on drugs. I think anyone can own the moment if they try.

5. Faraway Malls
- How far away does faraway mean? I guess a faraway mall for me is King of Prussia. It's a huge mall about a half hour away from me that has anything that you really could dream of.

6. A Stocked Fishing Pond
- I would rather have a stocked fishing pond instead of going somewhere where there are almost no fish. Where's the fun in that?

7. High School Coffeehouses
- My school didn't have a coffeehouse! What is this? I want to sign a petition for all future students of Downingtown High schools! We need to have a barista on campus!

8. Eating Alone for a Change
- It's always nice to have a meal alone but that's really hard when you have about 200 other students eating at the same time you are. I enjoy going home and being able to have a time where there is no one else around me and I can hear myself think.

9. Track Shorts with Bike Pants
- I think that all boys and men who run cross country and track should wear these because then we don't have to see your junk bouncing around because it is properly placed.

10. Finding the Outfit You Saw in a Magazine
- Honestly I have my own sense of style and I don't like copying something that I found in a book because then it's no fun to even try. Following something out of a magazine isn't having your own style it's copying what someone thinks it is appropriate to wear. If you ask me they should stop encouraging such young girls to wear such short skirts.

Toys that Talk

April 7's 10 Things to Be Happy About

1. Ladling Soup
- Better than trying to get it out of something with a regular spoon because that would probably take hours just to get one bowl of soup. I guess this would make me pretty happy so I wouldn't have to use something else.

2. Finding Your Passion
- Everyone should have a passion in their life. For most teenage boys it's video games and girls it's clothes and makeup. As people grow up they find jobs that help to define their passion in life. I know my passion is to help children become educated. I love teaching along with helping students with material from their classes.

3. Accelerated Learning
- If you're in one of these classes than you should be really happy with yourself because your smart and it's an awesome thing to have. I really wish that I had been smart enough to get into an accelerated class when I was in high school or even middle school.

4. Fine Cabinetry
- Guys that are good with their hands are usually good with this kind of thing. My boyfriend has built many things but I'm actually not sure if he's made a cabinet. I'm pretty sure that my dad has made one though. He's made a beautiful chest for my mom that sits in one of our hallways though.

5. Shelves of Up-to-Date Photo Albums
- I have to say that I am very behind on my photo albums but that's ok because I have fun doing them and am hoping to catch up on them this summer when I have more spare time.

6. Upstanding Citizens
- I have to say that anyone who is one of these is a good person in my book as there aren't very many of these left in the world because no one seems to care about manners or anything else these days.

7. Children Making Their Toys Talk
- I remember when my sister was younger she used to play with her play mobile and make it talk. It was always fun to listen to because the castle was in the hallway that our rooms are connected to. And at our old house I would sit at the top of the basement stairs and listen to it.

8. Bookmarking a New Website
- I don't do this too often but when I do, it makes me smile because then I know that I have found a new website that I am fond of, and this does not happen too often because a lot of the websites these days are boring and have things that you see on every other website like it.

9. Embers Fading
- They are cool to watch but they are warm enough to still emit some heat to warm the room.

10. An Exciting Plot
- It pulls me into a book that much faster and it's nice because it keeps me sitting with a book that much longer. If a book has a good/exciting plot I can sit with it all day and not really think about anything else because I'm enjoying said book so much. I love when my mom recommends me books because she knows what I like to read and will recommend me good ones that have a good plot to them.

Hanky-Panky

April 6's 10 Things to Be Happy About

1. Vanilla Gelato
- I love gelato any flavor especially because it's something that we do not have here in the US because we have ice cream instead. Gelato is delicious!

2. Good Ol' Hanky-Panky
- I literally laughed out loud when I read this one. This is total shenanigans! Sooo funny! My friend Mia used to say this all the time when people would go off to 'have fun.'

3. Fearless Storm Chasers
- There aren't many in this world but I believe that there should be more so that we can see the fantastic footage that they film. It is amazing what national disasters can do and how beautiful they are even though they destroy houses and property.

4. Sowing Seeds
- Well you need to do this in order to live and have food. So you should be happy that someone in the world is doing it.

5. Little Gift Books
- Like the ones with the little pictures inside or they ones that people give out with the little coupons inside. As a kid I always made the ones with the coupons inside for my parents with things like I will not argue with my sister or something along those lines.

6. A Life of Purpose
- Everyone has a purpose in life whether they know it or not.

7. Moving Into Your Perfect Home
- I can't wait to move into a perfect home some day that I got to design and help build. I'm hoping to accomplish this because I watched my parents do it when I was a kid and it's something that I dream about doing some day on my own with my own family.

8. An Art-Filled Journal
- I wish that I could draw but unfortunately I can't. I give credit to those who can like my great grandfather. We actually have one of the journals that he made when my father was younger and it's really fun to go back and look at all of his old paintings.

9. Afternoon Light
- It is the best for photography because it makes great shadows for the pictures. My aunt always likes to take portraits during the early evening hours to make sure that she gets the best light.

10. The Cry of a Loon
- I love hearing these on the lake that we go to in Vermont. Listening to them calling out to each other is truly amazing and a beautiful symphony of nature.

6.

Cookie Dunking

April 5's 10 Things to Be Happy About

1. A Loft Above a Store
- This should make people happy that otherwise would have no where to live. My dad actually lived in a loft above a store after he graduated from college so I guess it's a good thing that they exist right?

2. Crisp Dollar Bills and Shiny Coins
- I love the feeling of dollar bills when they are almost brand new and they aren't completely wrinkled. It makes them easier to fold into my wallet. Also shiny coins are pretty and they make me happy because people don't see them very often. It amazes me how some of them stay so shiny for many years and you look at the date and you're like woooow.

3. Haciendas
- These are spanish estates or big homes. The word reminds me of Zorro with Antonio Banderas and Catherine Zeta Jones. These houses make me happy because they can hold much history and they are very big and spacious.

4. Monks' Robes
- I don't know why this would make people happy but ok?

5. Liking Your Coworkers
- I think this should make anyone happy because if you don't you never know what kind of enemies you might run into in the future.

6. An Honest Opinion
- You can't come by these very often and I really don't like it when people are dishonest and then you do something because you thought that they had liked it but they really didn't. It's very irritating. I try to be as honest as I can most of the time unless I really don't want to hurt someone. Being honest can only help you because then you know instead of getting caught in a lie.

7. Reinventing Yourself
- When you move to a new place, school, anything, you always have the chance to make yourself into the person that you never thought that you could be before. If you want to change you start with a blank slate.

8. The Immune System
- Mine sucks...nuff said! I hate when the weather changes because mine just shuts down!

9. Cookie Dunking
- I only like to dunk Oreos in milk because they taste wonderful!!! They are my favorite cookie ever!

10. Crazy Socks Peeking Out
- The crazier the sock the better. The ones that are the best to have is the ones that have the individual toes.

Clean White T-Shirts

April 4's 10 Things to Be Happy About

1. Donating Your Time
- This can only help the people in the world and if you donate a little of your time, every second counts.

2. Kettle Lakes
- Is this something that spills out of you tea kettle and gets on the counter?

3. Backyard Wildlife
- Gotta love those raccoons. Last year when I was house sitting there was a raccoon that would continuously knock over the potted plants and I got really angry when morning after morning I would come to water the potted plants and they would be knocked over. I love squirrels though and watching the birds fly around.

4. Well-Manicured Box Hedges
- Because if they're not well-manicured then they don't even look like box hedges...duh!

5. Reading to Someone
- When I was growing up I loved to read to my younger cousins. In fact I still do considering some of them are really young. I also loved it when I was younger my dad would read to me every night before bed. I think he did that until I went into middle school.

6. Integrity
- Everyone should have a little so that they can stand up for what they believe in.

7. Maps of the Ocean Floor
- I think that this would make oceanographers really happy but honestly this stuff doesn't really interest me all of that much. It is pretty cool how deep it is and how they make the maps. Using sonograms!

8. Cauliflower Served with Cheese Sauce
- I can't say I've ever tasted this but I'm not a big fan of cauliflower so I don't know if I would like it or not.

9. A Cleared In-Box
- I love to clean my in-box so it always feels really good when there aren't ten million emails floating around in my in-box.

10. Clean White T-Shirts
- Honestly it's really hard to keep a white t-shirt clean. Bleach is a wonderful thing unless it goes into other washes...then we have a problem!

Getting a Long-Awaited Reply

April 3's 10 Things to Be Happy About

1. Sunday Papers in the Park
- I think relaxing in the park on a beautiful Sunday afternoon with the paper in your hand is a wonderful thing. I love the Sunday comic section, that is the best part.

2. Getting a Long-Awaited Reply
- I finally got a reply from my grandmother that I correspond with. I was really starting to think that I would never hear from her because it had been two weeks since I'd gotten a letter. It made me really happy to finally hear from her.

3. Counting Backward
- Like before a rocket launches. I can't say that I've ever seen a rocket being launched but when I was younger my best friend and I used to pretend that we were in a rocket ship with my little sister and going into space.

4. Dancing Fandangos
- Honestly the only fandango I know about is fandango.com. Do the paper puppets dance now? Is there something that I missed?

5. Iridescent Blue
- There are sooo many different kinds of blue. How can you count them all??

6. One-Stop Shopping
- If you know the place to go then you're all set but sometimes it's hard to find a place that you really like to go to.

7. Lightening Your Schedule
- Earlier this semester I dropped a class because it was too much work for me and it really made my schedule a lot lighter and easier. I was not as stressed and I have a little more me time. I'm sure when I go into my next semester it will be hectic!

8. A Bird Convention in a Tree
- There are so many of these, especially in the spring. They have already started happening on my campus and it's really fun to listen to all the birds chirping at each other. I have always loved listening to them unless it is early in the morning, and they're outside my window.

9. Nuptials
- I can't wait until my day comes and I get to exchange mine. I know that it is a ways off but I know that it will happen some day and when it does I know it will be with someone that I truly love and care about :)

10. Ceasing Your Procrastination
- I did that after freshman year because I was so stressed if I left things until the night before they were due. Now I try to space things out which makes my life a little less stressful. Even though I have a lot of work to do it makes me happy to know that I've scheduled my life so that it's a little spaced out.

Circus Performaers

April 2's 10 Things to Be Happy About

1. Fresh Vegetables
- If they are straight out of the garden then that just makes them that much better. I love eating vegetables straight from the garden at my grandparents growing up. There were some vegetables that I didn't like but the ones that I did were always delicious. I think that they taste better when you get them out of a garden rather than from the grocery store.

2. Wine Red
- A really good song by The Hush Sound. The first time I heard it I didn't really like it but after seeing them in concert I loved their stuff. Also wine is delicious to drink.

3. Circus Performers
- As long as they aren't clowns I'm good. I do have a friend that is a clown though. She can be very funny at times but I can't say that I've ever seen her dressed up for the part. The only circuses that I have ever been to are Circus Smirkus in Vermont and Cirque du Soleil. They are both really fun to watch and I really enjoyed them.

4. Packing a Pack Horse
- Don't over pack them though because you can really hurt them if you over do it.

5. Succumbing to the Irresistible
- Even if you don't want it to happen for some reason it always happens. I don't know why. No matter how hard you try it's still going to happen.

6. Spelling-Improvement Books
- When you're a young student you can always need help learning how to spell and what better way to do it then buying an improvement book. I wonder if there's a how to spell for dummies book.

7. MLB Season Tickets - Honestly I'm not the biggest fan of baseball but since I'm a born and raised Philly fan I think that it would be fun to have tickets for a team that I could root for that is actually good. The season just started so who knows what we can expect from the Phillies.

8. The NCAA Final Four
- When I was younger they had the final four in the Philadelphia, at that time I believe it was the First Union Center. It was really cool to watch a basketball game that wasn't professionals because it's a lot different from the pros.

9. Surveying Your Garden
- Well if you don't then who knows what you'll end up with.

10. A Book You've Read Three Times
- I'm pretty sure I've read the Harry Potter series more than three times but it is a series that I really enjoy reading because I like to compare the books to how sucky the movies have gotten. The most recent one was pretty close to the book but still the ones in between the second and the most recent sucked!

Private Cottages

April Fools Day's 10 Thing to Be Happy About

1. Writing a Poem for Someone
- I can't say that I've ever done this before but I think that people who do that are amazing. It's always fun to wonder if someone has written a poem about you but I doubt anyone has written one about me even though it would be cool if someone did.

2. Stage Presence
- If you have one of these you are a pretty cool person because then you can direct the attention of a crowd.

3. A Private Cottage
- One of these in the middle woods is all that I need in my life so that I can enjoy being alone every once in a while. I wouldn't live too far off from civilization and other people though because otherwise I wouldn't be able to live because I like hanging with other people.

4. A Moment of Quality
- I think that there should be more of those in my life but you never know when they will happen they could surprise you.

5. Hanging Up a Bird Feeder
- Just make sure that you hang it somewhere where the squirrels can't get a hold of it because otherwise you'll have birdseed all over the ground and a broke feeder. When I was younger we hung one on the outside of the window and a squirrel jumped missed and rammed into the window. Priceless but still bad!

6. Orange and Lemon Zest
- Adds some taste to whatever you're eating.

7. New Mountain Bike Trails to Explore
- Honestly I like taking hikes rather than biking in the woods. I'm the sort of person who will fall off of my bike if I'm not careful. I have plenty of scars to prove it!

8. Choosing Comfort
- Well doesn't everyone want to be comfortable rather than being uncomfortable with something.

9. Drawing Smiley Faces
- I love to draw these on people's papers. I draw them on my student's papers when they get A's to encourage them to keep up the good work. I really think that they brighten people's days.

10. Nostalgia for Hostess Pudding Pies
- I love pudding so that's all that is needed to be said about this!

Anagrams Unscrambled

March 31's 10 Things to Be Happy About

1. Durum Wheat Fields
- I think any type of wheat field is good because we know that we can get fed. Wheat is in so many products because of flower. I do feel bad for those people who have a gluten allergy though. No wheat for you!

2. Penuche Fudge
- My mom loves almost any kind of fudge. I can't say that I'm a big fan of fudge though.

3. The Agricultural Sciences
- I think that everyone should know something of this extent because if you want to grow any type of plants you need to know something of an agricultural aspect.

4. The Common Good
- I wish more people understood that good is better than being evil. More people need to learn how to be good in general.

5. A Happy Medium
- Compromising is a wonderful thing and it helps in the long run because then there are less problems when you both agree on something in the middle.

6. Cast Parties
- When I was a part of the theater department in high school the cast parties were always in the cafeteria the afternoon after our last performance and the crew was also invited. It was my favorite part of being in the plays other than the actual performances. It was fun to see people out of their element of theater and in the element of party!

7. Gourmet Rave Reviews
- Honestly I could care less about gourmet food and would rather have a burger and fries. I miss my daddy's burgers!

8. Anagrams Unscrambled
- There are just so many that you never know what you could end up with.

9. Broadband Internet
- As opposed to dial up? It's so much faster and it makes research projects go by so much faster because there are so many sources online but being online will never beat the simple joys of turning the pages of a book when you are doing a research project or paper. I still like the feel of holding a book and being able post it note certain pages or even highlighting important parts.

10. Discovering Ancient Ruins Firsthand
- I think that seeing them in person is close enough to discovering them firsthand. I think that ancient artifacts are amazing and they tell us a lot about a culture and how people of the time lived.

Cheddar Scones

March 30's 10 Things to Be Happy About

1. Warm Cheddar Scones
- Anything with cheddar cheese is wonderful. I can't say that I have had a cheddar scone before but I'm sure that it is delicious.

2. Reading Poetry
- If it's poetry by Dr. Suess or Shell Silverstein I'm all for it otherwise I'm not really a big fan. I hate trying to analyze things and figure out what they "really" mean because it's completely pointless.

3. New Freedom
- I think this is the best when kids go from living with their parents to going off to either boarding school or college. It is amazing all of the crazy shenanigans kids get into when they leave home because most of them have never had the freedom to stay out until all hours of the night.

4. Knife Scars on a Cutting Board
- It means that a cutting board has been used to it's full potential or someone got really angry and just started taking swipes at it with a knife. Either way they make me happy because I know that I have been using them to actually cook delicious food.

5. Open, Gracious Hearts
- I think that more people need to have these in order to let others in and then the world would be a more peaceful place. Like the song says "Love makes the world go round"

6. Learning to Rock-Climb
- I learned how to rock climb on a girl scout outing and had the time of my life. It is not something that I have continually done thoruhgout my whole life but I really enjoy it when I do get the chance to climb up a wall of rocks.

7. Your House Selling
- I remember when we were moving when I was younger our house was on the market for a long time and my parents were extremely happy when someone came along and bought it. I think that in this day's economy it's a wonderful thing that your house sells so that you don't have a big debt sitting on your hands.

8. Getting Caught Up With Your Work
- That's actually what I'm doing right now, catching up on my blog. This weekend I have so much work to get done but so little time to do it because of all of my sorority stuff.

9. Spring Chickens
- My grandparents used to get new chicks every spring but I don't think that they do anymore because they have too many. I think that chicks are adorable because they just make you smile as they hope around and chirp.

10. Rose-Colored Glasses
- Are we talking about the things that are on your face or just glass in general?

Learning from Mistakes

March 29's 10 Things to Be Happy About

1. Dinner in the Crock Pot
- As long as I get dinner I don't care where it is made.

2. Old-Fashioned Typewriters
- These are so cool because of the hum of the machine and the fact that you can hear every single letter being typed. With computer it is so much more simple to write and edit things but an old fashioned typewriter is nice just for the feeling.

3. Noticing Your Breathing
- I guess this is a good thing so that you can notice if you stop...in which case you may be dead so you may not be noticing much of anything.

4. Thin-Handled Silverware
- I never realized that there was a difference between that and wide handled silverware. I think that any silverware is better than none with some kinds of food.

5. An Encyclopedia Updated Daily
- You never know what you could find out over night from a consistently updated encyclopedia. Also new things come into the world almost overnight and they need to be in encyclopedias too. Wikipedia is a great example of an encyclopedia that is always being updated. I wouldn't say to use it as a resource because it does not always have truthful information.

6. Plants in Your Home
- It just makes your home smell better along with it gives it a pretty touch.

7. The Bestseller Lists
- Honestly I like reading books that aren't on the bestsellers list or because everyone else is reading them. I like getting books recommended to me by people who know my character and know what sort of things that I enjoy reading.

8. Stopping Your Scrutiny
- I honestly need to work on knowing when to shut up about something but there are people that are even worse than me that really get on other people's nerves. It's really bad when you are constantly complaining about things that honestly shouldn't matter.

9. Getting a Passport
- If you don't have one you can't leave the country now can you? Getting it takes a while but once you get it, it's completely worth it!

10. Learning from Mistakes
- This is a good thing to be able to understand or else you may have some serious problems in the future. The people who don't fix their mistakes can end up having major problems in the future.

Taking the Morning Off

March 28's 10 Things to Be Happy About

1. Practicing Lacrosse
- I liked this back before they made us wear the stupid head gear because that just gets in the way of your vision and it annoys me. I really loved playing though especially after all of the practice and winning the games.

2. Taking the Morning Off
- I love these days. I actually went to my first class the other morning and then took the rest of the morning so that I could have a little time to myself instead of freaking out about everything that's going on in my life.

3. School Band Practice
- I was never in the band but I remember when I was in high school they would practice marching band when I was playing tennis and I always would dance around the courts during practice when they would do the drum solos between the songs. I really enjoyed those days.

4. Honey Mustard Chicken
- I like fried chicken dipped in honey mustard but I can't say that I've ever had honey mustard chicken, whatever that is.

5. Hawks Over Marshes
- This is creepy because they eat all of the wood animals like the squirrels and small birds.

6. An Unusual Vase
- There are so many unusual vases and when you come across one it's pretty cool because it's something different and something new that you don't see that often.

7. The Milky Way
- Is amazing and it's even better when you can see it when there is no light pollution. I wish that I lived in a place that wasn't so developed so that I could see it more often because it's depressing when you can't see it.

8. Following the Tao
- ??

9. Your Return Ticket
- When you get those and can reenter theme parks I think that they are totally worth it. I think it is also cool when you get some sort of discount if you come back in a certain time limit.

10. The Beef-Stew Recipe
- Beef stew = yuck!
