Woodpeckers

Today's 10 Wonderful Things to be Happy about

1. Your Fairy Godmother - If these existed in real life I would honestly be the happiest person alive. I don't have many complaints in my life but if I did I know that she could solve them all.

2. Ancient Pottery Shards - I guess if you're an archeologist this would make you happy because you would be learning something new about an ancient community.

3. What You Truly Believe In - Everyone believes in something and you should be happy to share that with the world.

4. The Theme from Sesame Street - Who doesn't remember being little and watching Sesame Street on a Saturday morning? I loved that them and still know it sadly. It will always bring back memories of my childhood with Big Bird and Oscar the Grouch.

5. Potato Pancakes and Applesauce - Can't say that I've ever had this meal but it sounds pretty interesting.

6. Sledding with Friends - Love doing this especially when everyone gets competitive and want to beat everyone else to the bottom of the hill. It also becomes a contact sport because people try to knock each other off.

7. Woodpecker "Morse Code" - Woodpeckers scared the crap out of me as a kid because they would knock on my parents' bedroom wall during nap time. My mom used to have to close the door just so I would sleep instead of freaking out. Ah the good ol' days. Dad had a bbgun and would shoot at them as well because they were ruining the siding of our house.

8. Fruit Preserves on Bread - Granmom makes the best jam ever. It is wonderful having it freshly made and then on a slice of toast...mmmmmm!

9. The Answers in the Back of the Book - Always good because then you know if you are doing something right or wrong!

10. Dioramas of Natural History - These are so cool to look at in museums. The Smithsonian in Washington D.C. has some amazing museums to look at!
