Today's 10 Wonderful things to Be Happy About
1. Watching the Days Grow Longer - This makes people happy because then they know that warmness is coming there way. The days growing longer means summer is not far off.
2. The Ferry Whistle - I guess that this makes people happy because they are on their way somewhere and the ferry whistle signals that they are either coming in to the harbor and then later leaves.
3. A Handwritten Letter - I know that these make me extraordinarily happy because I correspond with my grandmother regularly through old fashioned letters because I love getting letters in my mailbox at school since I get emails way too often that aren't usually anything fun about people's lives because I'm the treasurer and there just about people's payments and stuff. Yay! So my grandmother's letters make me smile.
4. Root Vegetable Soup - I'm honestly not quite sure what this is but I'm sure it's delicious and could make someone who is sick feel better because it's worm.
5. A Powerful Speech - A great example is Martin Luther King Jr.'s "I Have a Dream" speech. This touched many people and still does touch those who listen to it today. A powerful speech is something that should make someone who stands for something very happy when it is trying to put what you believe in.
6. Sitting in a Window Seat - Sitting in one of these seats and looking out at the scenery passing by whether it be on a plane, in a car, or on a bus. Looking out the window is cool especially when you're passing new places.
7. Hot Coffee in Your Thermos - Wakes you up a little and always better than cold coffee, right?
8. Electrical Cords Tucked Away - Who wants to trip over cords? It makes anyone happy to know that they won't trip over their cords because they are tucked out of the way.
9. A Light Backpack - Always better than a heavy one because that's what I usually carry around campus because of the work load that I have at this school and the fact that I need most of my books when I go to do homework in the library.
10. Wood That's Ready for the Fireplace - This means I don't have to bring it down from our barn and I can just put it in the fireplace and light it and be warm. Thank goodness!
