Yesterday's 10 Things to Be Happy About
1. Armchair Anthropology - Honestly I don't know what this means and I'm a little confused. I like armchairs thought. They're comfy to hunker down and be lazy in front of the TV in.
2. The Yellow-Brick Road - This makes me happy for two reasons. I love the Wizard of Oz (grew up with it is a kid and even have the trivia board game, yea I'm that cool!). I also love Elton John and his Goodbye Yellow Brick Road is one of my favorite songs from growing up.
3. The Froth of a Bath - What person doesn't love watching a bathtub filling up that they are about to get into? Anyone who doesn't is truly insane because soaking in a bathtub is enough to make anyone feel better.
4. Your Favorite Reading Glasses - I don't wear reading glasses and don't know many people who do but I mean hey if you have a favorite pair then that's all on you.
5. Rooms with High Ceilings - People who are tall are a huge fan of rooms with high ceilings so that they don't hit their heads on the ceilings. No one wants that plus they make the room so much more open.
6. Visiting Wyoming - Beautiful mountain landscape, no more to say about it.
7. Eating Hot Oatmeal with Brown Sugar - Oatmeal is delicious and brown sugar is my favorite thing to put on it. Although I like the instant stuff with maple syrup mixed in with, it's my favorite!!!
8. Tired Kids in Bed - They are better than kids jumping all over you! I love kids but when they are tuckered out it's good after they've been jumping all over you for hours.
9. The Metronome of the Rain - I love falling asleep to the rain unless I'm in the mountains and under the tin roof and it's really annoying and keeps you awake. I also love the sound of rain in the afternoon when I'm curled up on the couch reading a book.
10. Ancient Alphabets - I just think that they're really cool to look at but I wouldn't want to learn how to use them. I have learned most of the Greek alphabet for my sorority so it's pretty cool. How to actually use it to write I will probably never know.
