10 Things to Be Happy About
1. Gettysburg, Pennsylvania - I don't know if I should be happy or not. It is truly an amazing place because of all of the history but at the same time the concept of all of the people who died there. I like history so I think I'll go with the fact that I like it there. I have not been there in seven years but the last time I went I really enjoyed the trip there and seeing some interesting things.
2. Lincoln Log Structures - These are just cool looking and I used to have a set of them to play with when I was little.
3. A President You Admired - I haven't really admired any of the presidents since I've been alive because they've all done some pretty stupid shit. Some of the older ones though that I've read about instead of having to hear about have truly amazed me in their abilities to change not only the U.S. but the world.
4. The Temperature of Marble - In the summer this might make me happy but in the winter it's just too cold. It's nice and cool in the summer while everything else is hot.
5. Waking Up to Snow - When you want a snow day it makes it that much better. I love just watching the snow and waking in it as it falls around you makes the world seem so peaceful and quiet. I love that it just sounds like nothing is going on around you when it snows. Winter is my favorite season, maybe it's because of my middle name (Winters) or maybe it's because I grew up loving to play in the snow.
6. Owning an Original Work of Art - While art is amazing I would be afraid to own an original work because of what could happen to it. It could be stolen or it could be vandalized. Having it would make me happy but it would also make me worry.
7. Hobby Shelves - ????
8. Big, Hot Pretzels - Did someone say Auntie Anne's?
9. Smalltown, USA - I have no idea what this is.
10. A Quiet Place - Love these because it makes it easier to concentrate and get my work done or just a place to think.
